Who Are We

Pravara Vedika was founded in 2015 by Mrs.Bhanuprada Divakarla. In 2018 Pravara Vedika was incorporated as a non-profit organization. Pravara Vedika aims to bring together all Telugu speaking Pravara community members in North America and to provide them a platform to share like minded views and support the needy. In recent years Pravara Vedika supported needy students, priests in NA during COVID crisis by providing monetary help with generous donations from community members. It also caters to the community by organizing cultural events. Provides services like matchmaking and religious information.

ప్రవర వేదిక ‘మన కోసం మనం’ అనే ఆశయంతో  పుట్టిన సంస్థ.  దీనిని శ్రీమతి భాను దివాకర్ల 2015లో స్థాపించారు. 2018లో ప్రవర వేదికను లాభాపేక్షలేని సంస్థగా నమోదు చేయడం జరిగింది.

ప్రగతి దిశలో పయనిస్తూ మాతృదేశానికి దూరంగా ఎందరమో స్థిరపడ్డాం. తెలుగు సంస్కృతిని, మన అమూల్యమైన ప్రవర వారసత్వ సంపదని  భావితరాలకు  అందించే ప్రయత్నానికి చేయూతగా వుండాలన్నదే ప్రవర వేదిక ప్రధాన లక్ష్యం.

Helping community (Cheyuta) : 

Since its inception, Pravara Vedika with help of its community members conducted many events to help the needy. Some examples: college counseling, Seminars on how to apply for federal jobs,  

Job providers/seekers whatsapp group,  sravana masam puja group, helping poor students with tuition payments, COVID Priest funding, collecting and disbursing funds for members in need, Conducting Vratams, Vishnu and Lalitha  sahasra parayanam, Harikadha, Sri sundarakanda Ramayana Pravachanams. Also during COVID pandemic, we continued to organize online cultural  events that keep members involved.

How we started

Our first meeting was held in 2015 with around 30 families. From that point onwards, one after the other we got introduced to other like minded people and thus grew our team. Now our members have crossed the 500+ mark and are still growing. Our intention from the beginning is the same – to provide a platform to all and help each other when needed. We have formed mini-teams for activities like “Sandhya Vandanam”, “Soundarya Lahari Parayanam”, “Job providers/seekers” etc.

Kalyana Vedika

కళ్యాణ వేదిక ప్రవర వేదికకి అనుబంధంగా 2015 లో మొదలయ్యింది. 

ఉద్యోగావకాశాలను, అభివృద్ధిని ఆకాంక్షిస్తూ పరదేశాలలో స్థిరపడ్డ ప్రవాసీయులు అన్నీ తామై, అంతా తామై ఒక ప్రపంచాన్ని ఏర్పరుచుకున్నారు. ఈ క్రమంలో రెప్పపాటున ఎదిగిపోయారు పిల్లలు. వీరికి తగిన పెళ్లి సంబంధాలు కావాలనీ, తెలిసినవారు, నమ్మకస్థులు అయితే నిశ్చింతగా వుంటుందనీ కొందరు కోరడము ఈ కళ్యాణ వేదిక ప్రారంభానికి పునాది.  అభిరుచులు, అభిప్రాయాలు కలిసిన జీవిత భాగస్వామి దొరికితే ఆ ప్రయాణం మధురం. మరింత ఆనందదాయకం. 

మనవారందరికీ సహాయపడాలని మన కోసం మనమంటూ మొదలైన ఈ కళ్యాణ వేదికలో స్వచ్ఛందంగా చేరిన సభ్యులు ఎందరో.
